Last weekend I watched "Toy Story 3." I realize that it came out awhile ago, but since I have 3 young children, one of whom was nursing every 3 hours when it was in the theater, this was my first opportunity to see it. And fortunately, I was able to watch it alone so no one saw my tears. Yes, this movie was a tearjerker, which I'm sure you knew when you made it. As a parent of preschoolers, my days are quite long, and I often find myself wishing that bedtime would come soon. It is hard to remember that, although the days are long, the years fly by! It will not be too long before my oldest son is off to college and leaving us (and possibly his beloved bear) behind to stare at his empty room. This movie made me stop and realize, if just for a moment, that the time with my children is so precious, and I need to redeem it. Thank you for the reminder!
Love,
A mother who has a tendency to forget
