A Scare!

Tonight we had a scare. I'll give you some hints so you can guess what it might be. It has to do with the little girl and something very special that makes an appearance in each of these pictures.

(Okay, just as a side note--I miss these cute rolls! So sweet!)

(Maybe this is why they say not to give babies blankets in bed!)

Caroline's beloved blanket disappeared!! Yikes!! This is the first time that's happened, and we opened every cabinet, looked in every drawer, called the library, and Ryan even went back there to make sure the precious lovey did not fall out of the car. I can now understand the parents who freak out about their child's favorite toy disappearing! My poor baby, who normally goes to bed so easily, would not fall asleep and cried until I took her out of the crib. After wandering around the house for a bit, she finally found an old washcloth and took that to bed with her. Is it sad that a scruffy washcloth is now a substitute for the once-soft security blanket?

Good news, though! The blanket was finally found after Caroline was sound asleep with her washcloth. Any guesses as to where it was found? The cheese drawer in the fridge! We think she must have put it in there when Grant was getting a cheese stick. I guess that's one more place I will need to look for missing items now.
